A VISION OF PEACE & ENLIGHTENMENT

The vision I hold for me is of Peace and Enlightenment in my life experience. Light hearted with a great sense of humor, I am always striving to take things with a grain of salt, never taking life too seriously.

It is important to me not to take things others do personally, because nothing others do is because of me. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When I am immune to the opinions and actions of others, I won't be the victim of needless suffering.

It is my intention, under any circumstance, to simply do my best, and avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret. This is the vision I hold for myself!

What is the vision you hold in your heart for your life?

I DID IT!!!

I had the best time this weekend! Ron and I (and kids) went with some friends of ours to a Cyclecross event in Wastonville this weekend and had such a great time.

I first attended a Cyclecross clinic on Saturday morning with a great instructor named Carmen. Carmen was so great, she made it look so easy and she worked with us for several hours. I only planned on doing the clinic because I thought it would be fun to try, I have never raced before and I have only gone Mt. Biking once. Carmen thought the race would be great practice for me so I told her I would think about it.

Sunday morning I woke up thinking that it would be crazy for me to try this race with so little experience, but I thought, What The Hell......I will do it! Oh My GOD, it was the hardest thing I have ever done. I wanted to die after my first lap, but all my friends and my honey kept cheering me on, so I kept going. The other racers were so nice to me, every time they lapped me they told me how great I was doing. By my third lap, with Ron following me on his bike cheering me on I finished the race dirty, tired, and tears running down my cheeks.

I am going back in two weeks to give it another go. All I need now is a new Pink cyclecross bike!

MOM.......Stop taking pictures!!!

This is Ronnie being molded for his new back brace. He was a good sport, and lay very still for the fellow to be able mold him. As you can see, it was a very messy process, and of course I wore my nice black pants to this appointment. I had white chalk all over myself by the end of this.

My way or the Highway!

FRANKZILLA THE CAT

This is the look we get whenever we sit in Frankies favorite spot. The trick is, he changes his favorite spot frequently, and he expects you to get the hell out of his chosen spot "Pronto"!

This is also the look we get if Frankie is hungry, and he gets pretty cranky if we don't hop-to-it and get him his dam food! Not only do I get the look, but he will follow me all around the house meowing and biting my legs.

I made the mistake of letting my big ol boy sleep with me while Nome was away and now he has been banging on our bedroom door at night......Let me iiiiiinnnnnnnn!

Oh My!

Gosh, I got so busy that I have not been on my computer for 12 days, SORRY!

I had 142 messages but only 1 from someone I know, how sad is that? I will try to be more on top of things my dear blogging friends, time just got away from me these past two weeks. I have been doing the back to school thing with my lovely 6th grader, and the body work thing with my little boo. My little shmooty-boo has some new doctors that we have been going to a lot lately so that we can fix up his little back.

My poor little guy will be wearing a back brace, having traction, rolfing, physical therapy, chiropractic, botox and a whole assortment of other therapies to help him with his twisty little spine. Makes me tired just thinking about all the driving I will be doing this year.

I have also been riding my bike and hiking when I have a moment to spare, so by the time I have a moment to rest I am out like a light!

My sensitive Gemini

Julious is my sensitive little Gemini boy. He gets his feelings hurt so easily, raise your voice at him and he will sulk in a corner. He is also the most loving fellow you will ever meet! Like a dog, he will roll over on your lap for a belly rub and he will make sure he makes his rounds to all of the family members for kitty loving time.

When it is "his" love time we have to stop what we are doing and make sure to pay full attention or he will get his little kitty feelings hurt.

Just look at that cute little mug!

Having Fun With The Girls!

I could use a good night out with the girls right about now! All you mom's and wives out there, I'm sure you know where I am coming from. No kids, no guys, just the girls drinking it up and having a good laugh.

Last year a few of my friends came over while my man was away, and we had such a great time! We drank too much, talked about things only drunk girls talk about when there are no guys around, and one of my friends was kind enough to give visual demonstrations as well!

Anyway, it was great fun and I am about due for another round of my own version of Drunk University.Com;))

No guys and no cameras allowed!

Nurse Mom

My poor little boo has Strep Throat.

I woke this morning at 5am to find my baby burning up with a 105 fever. I knew something was up last night because he threw-up before I put him to bed. I hate it when he is sick, it freaks me out, mostly because he can't tell me what is hurting him or tell me what is wrong.

I had to call all the people who have been in my house in the last 24 hours to let them know they had been exposed, then I had to call all my son's services and cancel all his appointments for the week...... I had to call a lot of dam people!

It's gonna be a long night for me, he is still burning up and it is 7pm.

Just For Petit Lutin

A Vous Angela

I am me the universe & you!

A fire burns
Water comes
You cool me down
When I'm cold inside
You are warm and bright
You know you are so good for me.

With your child's eyes
You are more that you seem
You see into space
I see your face
The places you've been
The things you have learned
They sit with you so beautifully.

You know there's no need to hideaway
You know I tell the truth
We are just the same.
I can feel everything you do
Hear everything you say
Even when you're miles away
Coz I am me, the universe & you

Your Thoughts and You

The True Power of Water

If thoughts can do this to water, imagin what our thoughts can do to us. The adult body is 70% water. Therefore, in terms of materials, we can say that we are water.

Masaru Emoto has been studying water for many years, and has found that by introducing information (all the external factors that affect our mind and body)to water, he was able to change its quality according to the information it took in.

Mr. Emoto first puts a water sample in a glass bottle and exposes it to information, such as a word, picture, or music, for some time. Then, this water is dropped on petri dishes. These dishes are then frozen in a freezer at -25 degrees C or lower. When they are taken out of three hours later, ice grains have been formed with their center rolled up due to surface tension. He then directs light on each grain of ice and looks at it through the microscope.

If things go well, a crystal starts to form as the temperature rises and the ice starts to melt. Taking one to two minutes, it opens up like a blooming flower. During the course of sampling and photographing different types of water, Mr. Emoto found that Water shows different shapes of ice crystals depending on the information it has received. Water responded to positive words by forming beautiful crystals, and when shown negative words, it did not form crystals at all.

For example, when the water was shown the word "happiness," it formed crystals with well-ballanced shapes like beautifully cut diamonds. On the other hand, water exposed to the word "unhappiness" resulted in broken and unbalanced crystals.

If water is affected by the vibration of the information it takes in, then this must also be true with you who are water and the world you are in.

To Love and Allow

I love my husband deeply, yet I know that I do not own him in any way. My inner knowingness recognizes that he is on his own path and that being married to me is a part of that journey he is on. I am most grateful that we share a big part of each other's life. It has taken me quiet some time and some bitter disappointments in other relationships to enjoy the experience of loving someone without having to control him in any way. I can allow this person that I love simply to be, even though that may be diametrically opposite to what I am, or to what I may prefer him to be.

For me, this is the essence of the marriage relationship at a conscious loving level. The ability to suspend judgment about how we feel our loved one should be conducting his or her life, and to love that person as is, is a valuable exercise in detachment. Suspending judgment means honoring his needs and right to be on his own path according to his own inner directives without my uninvited input.

My husband and I are very different from each other. In many respects I would describe us as opposites. Love often seems to work this way, allowing us to have in our loved one some of the qualities that we have not elected for ourselves. We do not seem to fall in love with those who have identical qualities. Perhaps that is because we already live with those ways of being in all of our waking moments, and to choose them in another would make for a redundant relationship. I have stopped judging and fighting the differences, and instead remind myself to be greatful for the new flavor that he brings so deliciously into my life every day. We lovingly and playfully acknowledge that we do not have to please each other all the time, nor do we even have to understand each other. This is the quality that detachment from ownership in a relationship brings. It allows us to truly appreciate the opposite "strange" qualities in each other. When a need to convert him appears, I remind myself that I fell in love with this man for what he was. On occasions I admit to being inwardly perplexed by his views and actions, but can also shift instantly to loving him for that, rather than having an internal dialogue which tries to make him wrong.
