Entropy Cellars, a sponsor of EMC2/Vellum cycling team had a wine tasting release party tonight. Nome and I had so much fun with our friends tasting the different wines and enjoying great conversation.

Haven't been to a proper wine-tasting in years... (sigh) Closest thing is a few sake-tasting+dinner events I've attended at a little hole-in-the-wall here in town.
There's a great little place called Moyer's I try to hit whenever I'm back home. They've got a vineyard & restaurant overlooking the Ohio River. The first time I stopped in, the owner was walking around with several open bottles giving the guests free tastes. (I suspect he'd been sampling a bit himself as well.) Pretty good stuff. I always leave with a few bottles for myself and friends.

howdy! you really do look like you are all having fun. We belong to a Winelovers club. We were into it hot & heavey for a couple of years. Got to know alot about wine & tasted alot of different ones. haven't been involved in it for while though.

It was a lot of fun, and I did leave with a few bottles of wine too. I will be helping bottle two of Entropy's wines soon and I am looking forward to that.
We did belong to a wine club a few years ago as well, and still have some cases left over from that.

My blog is mostly about riding bikes and such, however, once in a while I will wander into a subject close to my heart...not politics or religion though, too personal of an issue for people and I just want to have fun!
